Mid April 2015. First flower has opened and it's an AMAZING colour! Can't wait for all the flowers to open... Here are the many variations to this type. Other information here.
1 March 2015. Have just discovered that this is probably an Epidendrum orchid. Got a cutting from a friend's garden many months ago and had tried growing it in different types of media and conditions. It is now producing a flower spike - 2 actually...
